Great Oaks Mental Health Unit is situated in Ashby, Scunthorpe and provides care and treatment to older adults who are experiencing acute mental health problems.

Broxap Limited were approached to supply and install a bespoke symmetric entrance canopy with oak posts to the main entrance, and a bespoke symmetric entrance canopy to the rear of the building. The entrance canopies were as follows:

Bespoke Symmetric entrance canopy with oak posts (main entrance):

• Dimensions: 2530mm long x 5150mm wide x 2505mm high (to eaves)
• Base Type: Baseplates/submerged
• Roof Cladding: 5mm PETg UV Cladding. Colour: Clear as standard *Infills to one sides held in place with 304 stainless steel spiders Includes an aluminium rain deflector plate to rear of canopy.
• Finish to Framework: Galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461:2009 and Powder Coated. Colour: BS4800 00.A.05 Goose Grey Oak Timber (uprights) treated.

Bespoke Symmetric entrance canopy (at rear):

• Dimensions: 1880mm long x 5900mm wide x 2446 high (to eaves)
• Base Type: Baseplates/submerged
• Roof Cladding: 5mm PETg UV Cladding. Colour: Clear as standard.
• Finish to Framework: Galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461:2009 and Powder Coated. Colour: BS4800 00.A.05 Goose Grey Plastic Guttering and Downpipe to one side Black.
